This is a a brilliant little hack for homemade soups that saves time, money, and food waste. Here’s exactly how to do it: 1. Cool the soup first. Let it cool to room temp so you don’t raise your freezer’s temperature or cause ice crystals. 2. Scoop into muffin tins. Use a ladle to fill each cup about ¾ full. You can use either metal or silicone muffin tins (I’ve found silicone is easier to pop the soup out later) 3. First freeze! Place the filled tin flat in your freezer, uncovered for 4–6 hours
