BLUEBIRD SEASON RECAP This year’s bluebird trail brought us so much to observe and learn. Spring cold snaps stretched out egg laying — sometimes up to 2 to 5 days between eggs instead of daily! Summer heat waves led to smaller broods, with some nests holding only 3 eggs instead of 5. Out of 58 eggs, 51 hatched and 50 fledged — an incredible 98% fledge rate!
