Former President Barack Obama clarified remarks after saying aliens “are real," stating he saw no evidence of extraterrestrial contact and rejecting Area 51 conspiracy theories in a podcast interview.
You may have heard that former President Barack Obama stated how aliens are real. And indeed, he did. But he later clarified what he meant. BBC reports that Obama was answering a lightning round of questions during an appearance on political commentator Brian Tyler Cohen’s podcast when this statement was made.
The former president also condemned the actions of ICE in Minnesota and commented on a video posted by Trump.
Barack Obama is setting the record straight on extraterrestrials after his podcast comments went viral recently.
Obama replied “They’re real, but I haven’t seen them, and they’re not being kept in … what is it …?” “Area 51?” the interviewer responded. Then Obama said, “Area 51. There’s no underground facility. Unless there’s this enormous conspiracy, and they hid it from the president of the United States.”
Trump said he'd direct agencies to begin sourcing and "releasing government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life."
